Two Healthy Vegan Protein Supplements to Put on Muscle with the Noblerex K-1

If your goal is to put on muscle with the Noblerex K-1 (as mine is), you’ll have to eat more protein than usual to feed that growth.   (I would l like to put on 3 pounds of muscle in the next 90 days–I’m trying to lose some fat too so I definitely won’t be over feeding.)

As more and more people are allergic or sensitive to whey and soy protein powers, it’s crucial to find other high quality options that will give you results. For my 90 day Noblerex K-1 challenge, I’ll be supplementing with some raw vegan protein powers, adding them to smoothies right after a workout.   I will probably be getting an extra 16 grams of protein per day doing this.  If you want to gain more muscle, you’ll have to supplement with a couple servings of extra protein.

Here are the two supplements I primarily use.  These are not by any means the only way I get my protein, as a raw vegan, but will be very helpful for me and possibly for you to put on a few pounds of muscle without any by-products, dairy, or soy.

With simpler and much less processed ingredients, I really feel these two protein powers are assimilated a lot more efficiently into the body, giving you a lot more bang for your buck.  You can read more about them by clicking on the links.  I like ordering most of my supplements from the Raw Food World, but you can get them anywhere you’d like if you want to try them out for yourself.

Sun Warrior Protein: 1 serving has 70 calories, 16 g protein, 1 g fat

Organic Hemp Protein 50%: 1 serving has 120 calories, 15 g protein, 3.5 g fat

I use them both pretty equally.  I haven’t tried the vanilla or chocolate flavors of the Sun Warrior Protein yet but maybe I should because I think the Hemp Protein makes for a better tasting smoothie so far.
