How often can/should the Noblerex K-1 be used?
It depends on what you want to accomplish.  If you're looking for strength gains, we recommend using it up to twice a day for 10-20 minutes a session , 3-5 times a week.  You can follow the exercises on the DVD or come up with your own moves; don’t just stand on it.  You may also want to use it every day prior to or just after other exercise for warming up, cooling down, and recovery; due to its ability to increase circulation, lactic acid is quickly cleared, leading to faster recovery.

Short programs (up to 6 weeks) of more intense use can produce safe and rapid fat loss and body toning but should not be followed permanently.  Instead maintain with a regular (3-5 times per week, 10 minutes per day) routine.

Older or senior users might want to ease into using the Noblerex by standing on it for just 3-5 minutes at a time. Although there is no effort on your part, you are actually putting the body through a lot of exercise. After a short settling-in period the safe time limit for your sessions is 10-15 minutes. This can be performed every 24 hours, or 48 hours if performing high intensity resistance training. It is essential to give the body adequate rest between sessions.

Note: Pivotal/oscillating machines like the Noblerex K-1 are a lot safer for daily use than linear equipment, particularly if the aim is healing or general health improvement and you are generally just standing or sitting on the platform.  If using it this way, you can use it every day at a low amplitude (feet not too far apart) and frequency (below level 6).

How are the different levels on the Noblerex K-1 (1-10) used?
The Noblerex K-1 operates on a level system of 1-10, creating corresponding frequencies of 7-28 Hz. The frequency determines the number of vibrations per second.  For example a training session of 1 minute at 25 Hertz will be 60 x 25 = 1,500 cycles per minute. To help you with your training and therapy goals we recommended the following levels/frequencies:

Is there an age limit to using the Noblerex K-1 for Whole Body Vibration training?
Not really. There is no upper age limit to this type of exercise—if you can stand or sit on it at a low level, you can use this machine and reap the benefits of it. Kids under 14 years old probably don't need to use the machine for even 10 minutes a day.  However, if they want to use it – because we know for a fact that kids LOVE this machine having seen them taking over a machine at a past event even when other adults wanted to use it – they can do so without any negative effects.

How Does It Work?
The concept is simple – you step onto an oscillating platform that emits vibrations, about 7 to 25 times per second and these vibrations fire off contractions in your muscles. How is it shipped?
The Noblerex K-1 is shipped via UPS in two boxes: One weighs 74 pounds, the other weighs 15 pounds. It is very simple to assemble and de-assemble–all it takes is six screws and an Allen wrench that’s included. Just plug it into the wall and you’re ready to vibrate!
