15 Minute Lower Body Workout on the Noberex K-1

Okay, let’s firm up those legs with some more Noblerex K-1 time!

Here’s a short and super-effective workout you can do for your lower body on the Noblerex K-1 machine.  I made this a 15 minute workout instead of a 10 minute workout because typically, it takes more time or heavier weights to fatigue the large muscles in the legs.  Of course, if you want to make this a 10 minute workout or a 20 minute workout, that’s completely up to you.  An optional warm up or cool down can be done before and after.  This workout works out the abs a lot too!

Remember that whole body vibration exercise has been shown to be 10 times more efficient muscle work than rotational exercise. (See here for the research studies.)   Also, 10 minutes of whole body vibration exercise has been found to be equivalent to about 60 minutes of exercise at the gym.  You’re accomplishing a whole body workout in 1/6th the time!  Who doesn’t have 10 minutes a day for the powerful whole body workout and additional benefits WBV gives us.   Not to mention whole body vibration saves your muscles, joints, and ligaments from microtears and damaging stress from lifting heavy weights 8-)

(All of these exercise can be static or dynamic. For a more intense workout, make each exercise dynamic until fatigued and then just hold the pose.)

  • Thighs and Abs: Stand and bend knees at a 30 to 45 degree angle 1 minute
  • Quads: Deep Squat 2 minutes
  • Inner Thighs: Wide Leg Squat 2 minutes
  • Quads: Lunges 1 minute each side
  • Quads and Hams: Reverse Lunges 1 minute each side
  • Glutes: Raise leg back behind you 1 minute each side
  • All-Over legs: Leg Circles 1 minute each side
  • Front of Legs: Stand and lean forward on your toes 1 minute
  • Calf: Calf Raises 1 minute
  • Glutes, Quads, Calves: Elevated Bridge 1-2 minutes

Opps–that ads up to 17 minutes, but you can cut out whatever exercise you want or hold a position or two for less time to make it a 15 minute quickie!

A 90 Day Whole Body Vibration Challenge update post (current pics, video, and stats) is coming later this week so stay tuned for the results of the first month of training on the Noblerex!

Raise your vibes,

Lenette Nakauchi
