My Before Stats and Measurements

(I wanted to be professional about these before and after pics–hence the Chicago Tribune in my hand!)

Today is the day before I begin my 90 Day Noblerex K1 Vibration Challenge so I figured it would be best to get all the measurements in!

As I mentioned earlier, I bought a special body fat and weight scale to measure my progress, and will be doing so on a weekly basis.  However, my friend just lent me his Tanita Ironman, which not only measures your weight and body fat, but your total body water percentage, visceral fat, basal metabolic rate, metabolic age, muscle mass, and bone mass, so I definitely wanted to kick start the challenge with that scale!

Here are the numbers from this morning (and I’ve been taking measurements for the past 3 days at different times of the day to get a feel for the accuracy and fluctuation of these numbers):

Weight: 102.4 lbs

Body Fat: 21.6%

Total Body Water Percentage: 54.8% (healthy range)

Muscle mass: 77.6 lbs

Basal Metabolic Rate: 1149 calories (this means I need 1149 calories per day when at rest.  It will be interesting to see how much this goes up!)

Physique Rating: 8 (means Thin and Muscular.  Let’s see if I make it to a 9 which is Very Muscular!)

Metabolic Age: 12 (this is as low as it goes so I doubt this will change.)

Bone Mass: 4.2 lbs (it will be interesting to see if this number goes up.  I don’t have any bone density problems right now as far as I know so it may not.)

Visceral Fat Rating: 1 (I have a healthy level of visceral fat)

My aim in using the Noblerex K-1 pretty intensively for the next 90 days is to get my body fat down, muscle mass up, and metabolic rate up.  I might be able to get the physique rating as well as the bone mass number up as well.

You’re probably wondering: But she’s already in shape, or She’s already thin!  I know I’m in shape but why can’t I aim for better??  Remember, as I said in my Personal Health Goals post, I’ve had trouble losing fat and gaining muscle for years.  I even had a personal trainer at the gym for three months and that did nothing–I still looked the same!  Not only is this a test of the Noblerex K-1, but it is a test to whether the K-1 will give me or others like me, that EDGE to get past that wall that’s been in the way for so long.  There are also other areas of health I know the Noblerex K1 will have a huge impact on and I’m looking forward to the synergistic effect of them all!
